Uh oh! Better not leave my aviary birds unsupervised for too long 🐈🐦🍴

Today I came within 5 feet of a Muntjac Deer - don't know who was more surprised - him or me!
Our property backs onto forest and as I walked down our path with a plate full of vegetables and scraps to throw into the forest to feed the animals, there he was on the other side of the wire fence! We stood and stared at each other, not quite believing what we were seeing before he bounded away deep into the forest. I hope I didn't frighten him too much as I came past the shed and he came back for the veg feast I put down for him 🦌💕
